How to make a blog on blogger in minutes - For beginners

When i started and let me tell you that it is not too long that i started blogging i use to think that blogging is not my cup of tea but slowly it became easy to start simple blogs in minutes. I am not a professional but i am able to make my blogs without anybody's help, so you can imagine how easy it is to blog. This article will only teach you how to make a blog on blogger....so let us start,



First open an account on gmail as it is required to log in to blogger, now open blogger and it will straight away take you to your blogger dashboard. Something like the page below will open, my blogs list is shown here but as a newcomer this place will be empty for you. Click on the 'new blog' button seen on left side.

 

Now another box will open that will ask for the title of your blog and blog address, this blog address will be the url of your blog like forexample.blogspot.in, don't leave spaces in the blog address and choose it carefully related to your niche.

  

I have entered a title and blog address, blogger will tell you whether your title is available or not so you can keep changing the address till it shows that address is available. As below you can see it says 'this blog address is available'. Before this i had entered 'amazingart' but it said that the blog address is not available so i changed. Another thing here is i have selected a watermark template here so you can choose any template and this can be changed later very easily so choose anyone for the first time. And click on the create blog button at the bottom.

 

It shows that blog is created  and it says 'start blogging' so click on that,

 

Once you click on start blogging link below seen page will open that shows it all like the overview that tells the page views, posts where you can edit your posts, template where you can change and customize the templates and so on. 

Now click on the new post button seen on the left top to write your first post,

 Below seen image will open but will be blank, first enter the post title, and start writing your content you can aslo copy and paste the content if already written somewhere else like ms word etc., content can be of any length, and all editing buttons are there to change the font color or size etc so can be done easily. 
To add the image click on the image tab and upload an image from computer or from web. Will explain in the next blog on how to add and edit images.

As you can see there is a save and publish button on the right side so click on save and preview, you can also click on the publish button to publish your first post. That's it, all done, now you are ready to view your first blog. Click on the view blog button seen on the left side top to view your blog.

Isn't that fast and simple, no technical knowledge required just write your content and keep posting them. Many changes can be done like adding widgets and gadgets, changing the backgrounds, editing the header and images, menubar can be added. I will teach you all that in next post.
